I snapped this photo after walking across the Fremont Bridge in Seattle not too long ago. It's great living in a climate that actually has seasons, where leaves change colors and the rain intensifies the color of green grass.

SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS
This is a composited photo stitched together by the Photomerge action in Photoshop. I took these photos back in April 2012 in Taos, New Mexico at the NKB Ashram while on sabbatical. I love the tranquility of snow falling. Living in Los Angeles, I haven't experienced snow much, so it sparked my excitement to capture the moment.

STIFFLER AND FINCH MAKE LOVE TO MY CAMERA
A few months ago I booked a gig with Associated Press to photograph the cast of "American Reunion," the latest film in the "American Pie" franchise. Universal Pictures thought it would be better to shoot the cast in pairs. I'm always up for shooting solo portraits, but the reactions when two or more actors get together usually makes for some good moments. These photos are proof.
The moment Eddie Kaye Thomas and Seann William Scott walked in the room, we shook hands and started cracking jokes. They were fun and playful for the five minutes or so that I had to work with them. They made the shoot easy. These are my two favorite pics from the shoot.
